Curated Wilderness Experiences

For those looking for something more—
Not bigger—
but deeper.

These experiences are built around places that ask a little more of you—

• places reached into remote locations by horse with a trusted backcountry guide with decades of experience
• riverside or alpine ceremony locations
• fishing woven into the whole experience
• camp evening beneath the stars
• quiet morning rides beneath alpenglow.

Whatever you decide you want this to look and feel like, the journey itself becomes part of the memory.

This is for those who want their wedding day to feel the way the West feels—
honest, open, steady and deeply alive.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes— this is a central part of what I do.

I’ll guide you through the process from start to finish, helping you think through location, timing, logistics, and how the day can unfold in a way that feels natural and true to you. You don’t need to have everything figured out going in— this is something we build together.

For more remote, backcountry experiences, everything is planned alongside you and supported by a trusted team. Those offerings are all-inclusive by nature, so the details— from access to the location to the overall flow of the experience— are intentionally handled.

  • Absolutely.

There are the well-known places—like Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park—but what draws most couples here is something a little quieter.

I’ll help guide you toward a location that fits the kind of experience you’re looking for, whether that’s something easily accessible or further into the backcountry. Wyoming offers an incredible range of landscapes, and part of the process is finding the one that feels right for you.

For more remote experiences, I work with a seasoned guide and team, which allows us to access places that feel truly removed—without sacrificing safety or intention.

  • Sometimes, yes—it depends on where we choose to go.

National Parks like Yellowstone and Grand Teton have specific permit requirements, while many areas in the National Forest are more flexible. I’ll guide you through what’s needed for your location, and in many cases I can take care of parts of the process for you.

You’ll also need a Wyoming marriage license, and I’m happy to walk you through that so everything feels straightforward and taken care of.

  • Not necessarily— but it depends on the experience you’re drawn to.

Some locations are easily accessible, while others— especially in the backcountry— require more time outdoors, travel, or horseback access. No prior horseback experience is needed. The horses and mules we ride and pack with are experienced, reliable, and well-suited for a range of riders and terrain.

A general comfort being outdoors is helpful. Routes and experiences are always planned around your comfort level and how you want the day to feel, so nothing feels overwhelming or out of reach.

  • That’s absolutely an option— and often what people are drawn to.

The backcountry guide I work with is an ordained minister, and I’m always happy to sign as a witness. If we’re heading into the backcountry, there’s usually a wrangler with us, so those details are naturally taken care of.

  • Every elopement is different, so I don’t work from a fixed image count.

Instead, I document the experience as it naturally unfolds—everything from the big moments to the quieter, in-between ones. Whether it’s a few hours or a multi-day experience, you’ll receive a complete, thoughtfully edited gallery that reflects the full story of your time together.

  • Most galleries are delivered within 4 –8 weeks, depending on the length of your elopement.

I take a thoughtful approach to editing so everything feels consistent and true to the experience. If you’re working with a specific timeline, just let me know when booking.

“What makes Tami so special is how intentional she is with every. single. detail. The light, the landscape, the tiny elements that would never cross another person’s mind. She captured pictures I will truly cherish forever. And most importantly she captured the pure joy felt in those moments.”
