A little more about me and my creative formula

 Mission Statement

Inspired by the beauty and romance found in everyday life here in western Wyoming.  My goal as a photographer and artist is to provide you with photographs that you find beautiful & inspirational. Whether that is through prints made especially for you or from my Wyoming Collection of trout, buffalo and wild horses.

It is with a sense of deep honor that I create with you and for you with a style that has been honed over a decade and utilizes natural light, epic locations, easy going posing, clean composition and true to color editing.  I hope you are inspired when viewing this work to live your one life with adventure, wonder and love. #OneLife🦬

Style:

Cinematic. Use of light, location, perspective and focus on my subject(s) to convey a depth and feeling (aka mood) in my photos.

Mood:

Romance. Simple. Unapologetic. Conveying a feeling of mystery, excitement and love of life. Thru a connection with environment and subjects.

Shooting Techniques:

Use lenses and DOF to highlight and isolate my subjects in the frame. I enjoy shooting tone on tone and finding the best light.

Editing Philosophy:

Starts during the shoot. With finding the best light, good posing for body type and lens choice. In post processing I punch up the blacks, open the shadows and stay true to the color as interpreted by the lens.

Photography has permeated every part of my life since I went professional in 2012. The camera and storytelling is an extension of my life. In my β€˜off time’ you can find me (most likely with camera in tow) in a river fly fishing, adventuring around

I came to Wyoming to photograph Wild Horses…and I fell in love with the light and the Buffalo. They are truly an American Icon.

American Icon

My love of photography started in 2008 with Equine and Equestrian Photography. I’ve been a seeker of light and wild horses from the east coast to the west.

Desperado

In the pursuit of trout I found a way to slow time. To focus on the water, the fly line and the beautiful fish themselves.
