HOW MANY WEDDINGS HAVE YOU SHOT?
385+ Yup! That’s a lot of weddings. They range in scale from elopements with the couple only hiking 4 hours up a mountain to the perfect spot to ballroom weddings with 400 plus guests. From private estates to beautiful farm weddings.
DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEES?
All travel costs are included if your wedding is in Wyoming or Montana. There are no travel fees to Cody, Sheridan, Jackson, Thermopolis, Dubois, Yellowstone NP, Teton NP in Wyoming. In Montana no travel fees to Billings, Bozeman, Red Lodge, Big Timber, Butte, the Bitterroots and beyond! I will travel to parts of Utah and Idaho for no additional fee. If you are elsewhere please inquire and I’ll quote you on the additional fee.
CAN YOU SUGGEST ANY ELOPEMENT LOCATIONS IN WYOMING?
Yes I can. Obviously there is the Tetons & Yellowstone….however off the beaten path are beautiful location we can show you that are not in the tour guides and on the bridal websites. Wyoming is so beautiful and there are places where you can go that you will not see another person all day. The Wind River Range is breathtaking, and the Big Horns stole my heart the moment I saw them. And the Shoshone National Forest is really spectacular. Reach out and lets talk and I can send you some location scouting photos.
DO WE NEED A PERMIT TO ELOPE IN YELLOWSTONE?
Yes! Apply 2-4 weeks in advance with your permit fee. Note that you will not be given exclusive access, the NPS doesn't hold areas or restrict tourist flow. So If you want a completely private area lets talk about time of year and what you are envisioning as a backdrop. National Parks are a true treasure. *I do not shoot a non-permitted event in any National Park.
HOW MANY FINISHED IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE FROM OUR WEDDING DAY?
Final edited image count depends on your timeline, guest count, ceremony length and overall vision for your day. A good average would be 75-125 images per hour of coverage. I would be happy to provide you with a more solid number once we have a consultation.
WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT WITNESS SIGNATURES IF WE ELOPE?
My name can be found as a witness on many marriage certificates so I would be more then happy to witness for you. And between me and officiant we can usually provide a second person to do so. Elopements are the best.
ARE YOU COMFORTABLE SHOOTING ALONE?
Fully! The majority of the weddings I’ve photographed I’ve done on my own. I have a system of shooting in place that make sure I’m where I need to be. Also based on our conversations and the wedding day conditions and your timeline I may opt to bring along an assistant to work with me. I will recommended a second and even a third shooter as a package add-on if I feel that your timeline and vision for your day is more then a single shooter is capable of.
WHEN CAN WE EXPECT TO GET OUR PHOTOS BACK?
Sneak Peaks typically in 24-48 hours. And a full gallery typically in 6-8 weeks. If you need an expedited turn around please inquire at booking. Although I prefer to do all my editing myself, I have used a professional lab to sort and color correct in the past and am happy with the results and can discuss that option with you.
